I posted up a new video sharing a diet that I recently tried out. You are guaranteed to lose 10 lbs in 3 days if you follow it exactly. I'm attaching the video to this post so you guys can watch my experience and I'm also posting the exact diet and the information I followed.

Lose ten pounds in three days
Note - Drink water throughout the day!
First Day:
Breakfast
Black coffee or tea, 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice of toast with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
Lunch
1/2 cup of tuna, 1 slice toast, coffee or tea
Dinner
2 slices of any type of meat (3 ounces) 1 cup of string beans, 1 cup of beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
Second Day:
Breakfast
1 egg, 1 slice toast, 1/2 banana, coffee or tea
Lunch
1 cup cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers
Dinner
2 hotdogs, 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
Third Day:
Breakfast
5 saltine crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple, black coffee or tea
Lunch
1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice toast
Dinner
1 cup tuna, 1 cup beets, 1 cup cauliflower, 1/2 cantaloupe, 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
"Diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper may be used, no other seasonings. This diet is to be used 3 days at a time.
In 3 days you will lose 10 pounds, after 3 days of dieting you can eat your normal foods, but do not overeat. After your normal days of eating, start back on your three days. You can lose up to 40 pounds a month if you stick to this diet.
It is a safe diet!!!! Remember do not snack between meals."

ReplyDeleteYou can exercise. But NO protein shakes / drinks. This diet is chemically set up to lose weight and fat. It' s only for 3 days
DeleteI exercised for 1 hour and drank a 8oz protein shake because if I didn't, I would've felt nauseous. And the diet still worked great. I didn't lose ten but I did lose 7 so that's good enough for me!
DeleteI'm on my second day. The first day was rough. I just finished lunch day two and I tried to work out but didn't have the energy to do a full 30 minutes of cardio and weights. It's ok, I already lost 1 whole pound lol

ReplyDeleteGUYS! She was clear, it works on chemical breakdown, so no substitues. Not for Ice Cream, not for Tuna, Hot Dogs, etc. If it was a diet based on calories you can find substitutes, but no in this case.

ReplyDeleteShe did mention the beverages. Either Black Coffee or Black Tea (No Cream, No Sugar, No Nothing plain old black beverage of your choice); you are also suppose to drink water through out the day too. So if you want a snack drink water instead.

DeleteThis is not the military diet. This is the American Heart Association 3 day diet. However, there is a military diet similar to this one. Some people choose the military diet because they can substitute some foods and in this one you absolutely can not substitute any foods.

DeleteOh I found the answer about exercise you can walk 20 min. a day. Someone already said war it was called The military diet. I did the military and we totally didn't eat like that, lol, but then we exercised a lot more, so yeeeaaaaaah, but the hydration was the same. They also mention that you don't have to eat "reduce fat" kind of foods. The cottage cheese etc. are the good fats that we need so they said you don't have to skimp on that or buy reduced versions. So when you eat on this diet you eat 3 days on and 4 days off if you want to cycle through for a month then that is how you eat. Oh and on the military diet they say no cream or artificial sweeteners for your coffee, but you CAN you use Stevia.

ReplyDeleteThe tuna should be in water. If you need to convert you can convert it on google. There are 8 ounces in a cup. There are 28.34 grams in an ounce, so if you do the math there is 227 grams in a cup.

So I'm pretty slim but I have gained some unwanted wait do to the fact that I broke my leg, this diet isn't going to make me unhealthly skinny will it?? Also how are you cooking these foods? I imagin you arn't frying them in oil, do you steam everything?? Can I use coconut oil??

ReplyDeleteI weighed in this morning and I lost the same. 3 lbs, but that is a 1 pound a day, so that's not too bad when you think about it. Normally people lose like 2 pounds a week, so I think that if you filter through it 3 on and 4 off you should lose the 10 in a month give or take a couple of days and depending how much exercising you do.

ReplyDeleteWell you can smoke on every other diet. This is about calories consumption, so I don't think that smoking a hookah adds calories. =)

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't according to the military diet which is what this is they said Black Coffee or Black Tea. I would stick with that just to see how it works for you as the original directions. Then if you like your results I guess you can tweak it, its your body and your journey.

ReplyDeleteI did a second installment of the diet and I only lost 1 pound, BUT I lost inches, so ladies if you don't see the numbers on the scale go down, then take your measurements; you might see the change there.

ReplyDeleteCrystal if you go to military diet.com they don't even have cantaloupe on the list of things to eat. It I guess you can look up the vitamins that are in cauliflower and broccoli and look for veggies that also have the vitamins that you were replacing.

DeleteWell I did this cycle for a month and lost 10 pounds, so the 10 pounds in 3 days didn't happen for me, but At least I lost 10! That's better than nothing.
ReplyDeleteIt's called the T-Lite Diet. I tried this about 20 yrs ago when I was in high school. I had gained a ton of weight from using the Depo shot and hated how I looked. I did it during the summer break and lost 30 lbs in 2 months. I walked about 2 miles every other day. The T-lite.net site has the substitute foods on it. I really hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteSo, I did lose 4lbs on this diet; however, I did not follow it religiously- I ate white rice w/ fried stew before lunch on day 1 and I also ate peanuts before lunch on day 2. I did notice that they have different variation of this diet on the net; however, this particular one works better compared to the other ones as reported by my colleague who only lost 1lb using the other version.

ReplyDeleteIt works....it's all up to you!!!! I've been doing this diet on n off for years. Trust me n Rocio if u want it it'll happen. Like Rocio I lost 7 lbs at first n then continued TIL l lose 45 lbs in 2 1/2 months. After that I ate sensibly n walked a lot n continuing drinking water. By the way never ate the ice cream once, because it just didn't make sense to me...but did everything else. Good luck everyone n thank you Rocio.

ReplyDeleteYesterday was my first day on the diet. Bfast was super easy! I have luzianne tea, I just boiled it like normal w/adding sugar. I cut the grapefruit in half and ate out of it with a spoon. It was surprisingly refreshing. Not bitter or sour. I wanted to eat the other half! As for the tuna, I use starkist white albacore, its in a blue packet in water. For dibner, I actually enjoyed the beet and green bean combo! I advise you to get the sliced beets in a can and cut them into smaller pieces. Its less daunting.. and to me the beets were sweet so I liked that. I poured the green beans into a bowl w/ 1/2 the juice, sprinkled w/ salt, pepper, crushed pepper, and cumin, and covered it w/ a moist paper towel and microwaved for 2 1/2 minutes on high. I made tilapia as my meat. I admit... I sprinkled it with garlic salt, lemon pepper, curry powder, and rubbed sage. Soooooo, yeah I broke the rules. Desert was great... Omg. I cut up the apple with a little water in a bowl and microwaved until tender.. Ate that with my ice cream. Today is day two and I'm about to eat breakfast. I'm down 3 pounds so far. I'll keep y'all updated. Hope I continue to lose!

DeleteOK so.. Day 2 lunch was hard for me. I like cottage cheese... Well, now I know I like it lol. But the amt and the wetness/chunkiness of it can make u feel like throwing up. So I crumbled my crackers over it, chewed it until smooth and swallowed it with a mouthful of water. Right now is DAY 3 for me and I'm eating dinner. . the amount of food is out of this world. One cup of Tina, beets, and cauliflower?? Its hard. I'm tackling the tuna first, then cauliflower, then beets. In order of what tastes the worst to the best. I forgot to weight this morning. So I'll post again tmoro for a final weigh in. Best thing about this diet.. Is it's three days. The four days after this I'm going to work out and eat good with only one "cheat" meal. That cheat might be a waffle with strawberry topping from huddle house! Anyway, hang in there. From the first day onward, you will feel your body burning fat, or your metabolism working. I can best describe it as a warm, jittery feeling. Ttyl

DeleteThis is the first day of myself and my daughter doing the diet. I have had breakfast and lunch so far and still feel full. It was hard getting the tuna down cause 1/2 cup was alot to me but the hot black tea did help. I also made some cold tea for dinner. I am hoping to lose at least 7lbs so we will see. I am following the diet exactly the way she stated in the video. I will update after the 3rd day....

ReplyDeleteIf you can make it all the way through this diet, kudos to you and I'm mildly jealous. I honestly can't even say that this diet sucks because I was unable to complete it as stated. I kept telling myself it was only three days, and I'm no whimp, but these were three days of torture for me. I was fine getting through the meals, even though beets and cottage cheese are the ultimate evil. I never felt hungry -- it was almost too much food, which I was looking forward to as someone who has toughed out a 10-day green smoothie cleanse in the past. That was a cake walk compared to this. The main problem was that at the end of each of the three days, I was nauseous to the point of almost vomiting. I apologize for having to say so, but it's true. On the second and third days it was to the point where I couldn't even finish all of the food I was supposed to consume. It was bad. Through the ups and downs of the three days however, I did manage to lose 4 lbs, which is still a major accomplishment for the time frame, but from now on I will be sticking to the 4-day belly fat diet. I did that one prior to this one and lost 6.8 lbs, and am currently mid-way through completing a second go. Fingers crossed as I will be posting on that page in the near future.

ReplyDeleteAs the importance of this program seems to hinge on food combination - and in some cases such a wide variety of food in a sitting, I think rates of digestion could play an important factor ... and are perhaps why some people are experiencing ill feelings.
For example
Day Two Dinner .. those hot dogs, depending on what they're made of, could take between 1 1/2 to 4 hours to digest ... where as the banana takes 40 minutes to digest, the broccoli 45 minutes and the carrots 50. When food's done digesting it wants an exit ... lol, and ultimately it's what's best for you too.
Anywho, gonna try this next Tuesday and eat my foods at each sitting in order of digestion rate ... quickest first!

ReplyDeleteI have gluten intolerance. Can I substitute with toast bread with gluten free bread (it is made of potatoes starch, brown rice, sorghum flour, amaranth flour etc) ? I know we can't substitute but I want to know if someone have tried gluten free bread. Thanks.
