Who Doesn't Love FREE Stuff?!

Hey My Babiessssss!!!

Happy Monday! Today has been an uber productive day on my end. I've been knocking things off my to-do list left and right. Such! An! Amazing! Feeling!

I definitely wanted to optimize on this natural high and dedicate some time to my blog today. I've been wanting to get this post up for about a week now and share some new goodies with you guys.

I shared a video with you guys some time ago about a company called Pinch Me that offers the opportunity to get a box full of absolutely FREE stuff! Yes, FREE, no strings attached, no hidden anything. I'll leave the video below if you missed it, but essentially you sign up and become a "pincher". From there you can fill out a couple of quizzes to complete your profile and get matched up with free items from a large array of different brands that you already know and love. This is a great opportunity to try out new products from some amazing brands.

I especially like the box because it's not your classic 'beauty box'. As I - slowly - try to move towards a more minimalistic lifestyle I find that I don't necessarily need 57 shades of nude lipstick and such. Pinch Me offers things that fit into whatever lifestyle you live. It matches you with items you will definitely get use out of. Today I want to share some unboxing pics of what was included in the latest "Sample Tuesday" box.

Sign up for your FREE PINCHme sample box here: http://pmgi.go2cloud.org/SHNc

I don't know about you but I always have a first aid kit in my car and one in the house. I found the cutest first aid cases at Target a while back and got like 3 of them. I have them filled with all the essentials for me and my family. My kits definitely include benadryl since I'm super allergic to bug bites and other things that my family tends to need so I keep on hand. I was super excited to see this in the box and immediately added it to my car first aid kit. Having a little one, it's always important to plan ahead. Children can dehydrate quickly, especially when they're sick or have a fever. This is the perfect quick solution until you can get yourself to a store and buy them some pedialyte or such. As an adult, and an avid raver, this is also a great thing to have handy for hot summer days spent dancing under the sun.

Just because I don't necessarily NEED more beauty items, that doesn't mean I don't love them. #girlproblems I like that the beauty items go beyond just makeup to include skin and body care as well. I also love the sample sizes because they are great for travel!

Here's where I got super excited!! Home cleaning items!!! Hoorah!!! Me mom and I were literally fighting over these two goodies when the box first arrived, We've been using the dish cloth everyday and loving how durable it is and how easily it scrapes off any residue. Since we don't own a dishwasher I can especially appreciate items that help make washing dishes easier, without having to pour 80% of my strength into vigorous scrubbing.

See those bumps ... Those bumps are awesome! :)

Here's my previous video in case you guys missed it:

Alright love bugs, I hope you've enjoyed this quick little post. I'm off to keep pouring through my to-do list. On that list for tonight is to map out my future blog post ideas for February, so stay tuned for that!

Pond's BB+ Cream Full Review

Hey beauties!

As the majority of my summer adventures dwindle to an end, I sit back and realize that I've been using the Pond's BB+ cream for a month or more already. I think it's due time for a complete review! =0]

Let me start off with this: The Pond's BB+ cream could not have come at a better time for me. It was my summer time life saver for many reasons.

Let's start with the obvious. A BB cream, by definition, already puts the idea of multi-tasking in your head. The Pond's BB+ cream provides build-able coverage and concealing in one. This makes it great for a wide range of activities from a day time BBQ to a more formal night time dinner date. IT also has SPF built into it. This was a huge plus for me because I always forget to apply SPF. It's extremely important to incorporate SPF into your daily skin care routine to protect your face from the sun. I mean, who doesn't want to look young for as long as possible? By having the SPF already in the formula it takes a huge weight off my shoulder. Aside from all of that, the formula also has a built in moisturizer. :insert crowd cheering sounds: For a dry-skinned girl that sounds like heaven in a bottle.

This product arrived at my doorstep the day BEFORE I left to Florida! The timing was impeccable. I used it just about every day while in Florida -minus the days that I was so exhausted from the previous days activities that I was lucky if I even washed my face, let alone applied makeup. I loved the fact that it was an all in one, super quick, on the go product. It literally cut down my makeup time to 1/3. All I had to worry about was how adventurous I wanted to get with my eyes on that particular day, and let me tell you most days it was a natural eye.

I want to touch on the formulation of the BB+ cream. I find that it works for any skin type. Actually, I find that the product pretty much baffles me! Let me explain. Personally I have dry skin so the added moisturizer is a huge plus. Also the 'luminous finish', which is advertised right in the product name, really does leave me with a nice healthy glow to my skin. I look as if I drink all my recommended amounts of water and take all my vitamins daily, which I don't. However, on the flip side, I've used the product on my super-duper-grease-ball-oily-best-friend (sorry, but it's true) and she still had a nice healthy look to her skin which I attribute to the 'luminous' quality, but at the same time she looked perfectly matte. Understand that the product does give a matte finish (another huge plus), but at the same time it provides a luminous glow...... Every time I think about it I just can't understand. Heehee, the innovation is beyond my level, but I'm very happy for it. As a side note: I used the BB+ cream on my bestie on 2 separate occasions. The first time with no setting powder and the second time I used MAC mineralized skin finish to set the product. Using a setting powder did give her a couple extra hours of oil-free wear but the results with no setting powder were pretty long wearing as well. (She didn't have to blot until about 4 hours in to wearing the makeup with no setting powder). Depending on the event, I'll leave it in your judgement if you will need setting powder for all my oily girls.

Some basic info for you:

The packaging is super cute! (haha had to throw that in there)
There is 1.5 fl oz of product
The item retails for under $10
It is currently available in 2 shades - light and medium
It is a noncomedogenic formula (meaning it won't clog your pores)

Another interesting feature of the product is the long term benefits it provides. The formula has a tone perfecting complex which, apart from immediately giving you flawless skin, also helps to even your skin tone in just 2 weeks and visibly diminish the appearance of dark spots.

I hope you guys can see why I'm so in love with this now. Let me know if you enjoyed this review and found it helpful. Also don't forget to stay tuned to my channel for new videos. I'm back on track now and my videos will be up as scheduled - starting with a haul video tomorrow. Finally whoever will be at BeautyCon: I'll be in Los Angeles next week for BeautyCon!!! Woooo can't wait to see you all!!

Don't forget to always be your beautiful best!

Love you! xoxo,
Rocio Laura
